This delicious chickpeas wrap comes together perfectly in under 10 minutes for a hearty snack or lunch!

As you know we love things spicy around here and that means you guessed it - JERK SAUCE. The first thing you'll need for this recipe of course is our delicious jerk chickpeas recipe. So go ahead and make yourself a batch of jerk chickpeas then come back to complete your wrap.

Also completely optional but we highly recommend also making our delicious spicy vegan mayo sauce to really take your chickpeas wrap to the next level. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I pretty much use that spicy mayo sauce on every sandwich, wrap and sometimes my salad to give it a saucy kick.

Once you have the jerk chickpeas and optional mayo sauce it's a matter of adding some fresh vegetables to build the wrap. I usually add fresh chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes and diced avocados. Feel free to add any other vegetables of your liking i.e. cucumber, green onions, mushrooms.

Since they are easy to prepare you can could easily prepare ahead time for lunch/snack or for your meal peps. As you know chickpeas are full of protein, nutrients and with enough carbs and calories to keep you feeling full for hours.

As for the flour tortillas we of course recommend the whole wheat variety. However that's completely up to you, there's also corn tortillas as well. You could also opt to make your own tortillas (I have yet to master this skill as yet). Instead of tortillas you could substitute for roti shells, bread or any other flatbread.

Ingredients
  • 2 Large Whole Wheat Tortilla
  • 1 Jerk Chickpeas (Cooked) (See recipe)
  • 1 Small Tomato (Diced)
  • 2-3 Lettuce Leaves (Shredded)
  • 1 Small Avocado (Diced)
  • 2 Spicy Vegan Mayo (See recipe)
Instructions

  2. Layout out tortilla

  3. Spread a few spoonful of jerk chickpeas on the wrap

  4. Add tomatoes, avocados, lettuce and any of vegetables
